Patron Authentication

BookingsPlus provides the ability to authenticate Patrons to your library management system using a variety of methods including Web Services (preferred) and SIP2.

Contact EvolvePlus Support to upload the settings and URL of your Library Management System web services or SIP2 gateway.

Use the Navigation Menu to configure the Patron Authentication service for the PC Bookings module:

  • Choose Intranet Administration from the top menu bar

  • Select Navigation Menu

IMPORTANT NOTE: You should use extreme caution if modifying or delete modules in the Navigation Menu since it can result in data loss for the selected module.

Patron Authentication for PC Bookings

To choose Patron Authentication used for the PC Bookings button you can click on the edit (pencil) icon in the Edit column

For the PC Bookings module choose the required method from the drop down list for the Patron authentication field
