Create PC Booking (Staff)
There are two ways for staff to create PC bookings from the BookingsPlus Portal
Method 1 - Via Locations / Calendar
This method enables staff to view existing bookings across all PCs for the location, and then deciding which PC to reserve for the Patron.
After selecting PC Bookings from the Navigation Menu on the Home Portal you can choose the location to view available PCs.
Select the library to display all PCs and their current bookings/availability for the location.
Click the + icon within an available timeslot for a PC to create a new pc booking. (To edit an existing booking click on the patron's barcode)
Note: you can configure the default display interval (e.g. 60 minutes) within the location settings.
Enter the Patron's details and adjust the start and finish times if required.
Method 2 - Via Quick Book Wizard
This is a "wizard style" method which leads staff through the process of booking the PC.
After selecting PC Bookings from the Navigation Menu on the Home Portal you can choose the Quick book option displayed at the top.
Select the Location, the Booking Type and click Check available times
BookingsPlus will display a list of available timeslots and the first available PC for each timeslot
Click on the required timeslot, and enter the Patron's details and adjust the start and finish times if required.
