Patron Self Service Web Portal

BookingsPlus provides a Patron Self Service Web Portal which enables patrons to create their own PC Bookings for the future, which is controlled by the parameters configured by the library.

Some of the parameters that you can configure for the Patron Self Service Web Portal include:

  • Maximum future web bookings per person per branch

  • Maximum future web bookings per person per day

  • Maximum hours that can be self booked in day

To access (and display) the link to the Patron Self Service Web Portal go to the Navigation Menu and click the PC Bookings link in the Details column. This is described in this article.

To view available PCs and times the Patron choose the following on the Self Service Web Portal:

Choose the Location

Choose the Booking Type

Choose the Date

The patron can either

  • Click "Available now" to make an immediate booking OR

  • Choose a required timeslot for later in the day

Then enter their name, library card barcode and PIN to complete the reservation of the PC.
